In the news!  HANDMADE HOPE, knitting prosthetic breasts
at Margie’s Muse

We need donations of cash to cover the cost of the yarns so we can continue making breasts to give away.  To make a donation, go to the order page, type in “breast yarn” in the Item Description box, and then click the shuttle where it says “make my deposit please”.  Your donation will be sent through PayPal.  Or call with a credit card number, or mail a check.  Best way is to come into the shop!

If you would like to receive a free prosthetic breast, email or call Margaret with color / material preference, and cup size.  Please consider making a contribution to cover the cost of the yarn.

Join us Thursday evenings at our knitting circle and help knit breasts for those requesting them!  No better gift.
Follow this link to see photos of “titbits” and the knitting pattern.

Margie's Muse own!
Fine Icelandic /Shetland blend. Sheep who live in Vermont produced this beautiful fine wool yarn - worsted (+/- 200 yard skeins; 6.5 - 7 oz) and bulky (+/- 168 yard skeins; 6.5 - 7 oz) grey/ brown heather. When this batch is gone, there will never be any just the same. I have it on cones, too. I also have a small amount of Vermont raised and processed llama wool, bred for its fiber quality. Dark charcoal, lustrous and soft, in various weights of worsted skeins.

Skacel
Skacel Addi turbo needles and needle felting supplies, ARTFELT!
ARTFELT is revolutionizing the way we felt! This technique, using a
combination of fine merino wool roving from Zitron and a magical “easyfelt”
paper, is exclusively offered in the US and Canada by Skacel.
ARTFELTis a combination of needle felting, wet felting and fulling. It
requires far less time and talent than any of the three! Artfelt allows one
to make felted pieces that are as thin as paper as well as thick enough for
a handbag, all while allowing for precision detailing of design. Any felted
piece the imagination can conceive, artfelt can achieve!
